Jon SligerPresident / Chief Executive Officer
Jon has been in the technology industry for more than 20 years focusing on areas such as networking, security, and development. He holds multiple certifications including Microsoft MCSE, Cisco CCNA, Unlimited Low Voltage, and Certified Fiber Optic Technician. Originally from Dallas, Texas, Jon moved to Georgia in 2000 and has experience in Fortune 500 and 1000 companies. He has been married to his beautiful wife for over 25 years, and they have one daughter and two dog sons. In his free time, Jon enjoys golfing, scuba diving, snowmobiling, and boating. He also enjoys traveling the world and has visited multiple countries from three different continents; his favorite country to visit is Germany.
Troy ZavitzVice President of Business Development / Sales Manager
Troy is an ambitious self-starter who has been an integral part of Systel’s success. With a Bachelors degree in Logistics from Central Texas College, Troy is knowledgeable and constantly strives for success. Since 2014 when Troy joined Systel as the Business Development Manager, he has played a crucial role in us reaching many of our goals and accomplishments. With over 25 years of sales and training experience, Troy is essential in acquiring and maintaining lasting business relationships from a wide range of organizations — Fortune 500 companies to local mom-and-pop shops. Before joining Systel, Troy served over eight years in the US Army, most recently as an aviation instructor. After getting out of the Army, Troy ran the Logistics and Field Service engineering support for Scientific Atlanta and Viasat Satellite Networks. A few of his programs included, Iridium Satellite Communications and Space Imaging, which are now part of Google Earth.
Amber SligerVice President
Amber is a devoted animal lover and chooses to spend her free time spoiling her fur babies, Addie and Roman. She graduated from the University of Richmond where she studied management, law, and business administration; she plans to continue her education by earning her MBA in the next few years. Having worked for Systel over the past several years, she has been able to apply herself and gain hands-on experience. In her spare time, she enjoys cheering on the Dallas Cowboys and grabbing coffee and drinks with friends. On her days off, she tries to get in a round of golf or a day at the dog park.
Shanna FredricksonOffice Manager / Executive Assistant
A native of the “Sunshine State”, Shanna began a career in real estate management in 2003. She has since managed multiple real estate franchises and property management companies in Alabama and Tennessee. Shanna has extensive knowledge in turnaround management, rebranding, and agent coaching. These experiences have helped her develop a strong understanding of business operations management. With a recent move to Georgia, Shanna is enjoying her new role as Office Manager of Systel, Inc. and looks forward to spending time with friends and family in the area, trying new restaurants, and exploring everything Georgia has to offer.
Brian QuinlinSales / Business Development Representative
Brian has always enjoyed interacting with other people throughout his entire life, and it is no surprise that his extroverted personality has led him to succeed for over twelve years in sales and business development. Quite a family man, he has been married for eight years and is a loving father to four sons and one beautiful baby girl. Brian loves all sports, but especially football (particularly Notre Dame.) His love for sports led him to a successful teaching career in tennis during his early and mid-twenties. When he is not spending the weekends and weeknights at the ballfield, Brian enjoys playing golf, fishing, and camping.
Shawn SosebeeSales / Business Development Representative
Shawn has been in the construction industry for over 10 years after graduating with a bachelor’s in education from Waldorf University in 2011. While attending college, he also enjoyed playing in various sports including both football and basketball. Shawn has always had a passion for building new relationships with people and taking care of those around him. He is a caring husband to his wife, Sable, and a dedicated father to their two sons and daughter. On Sundays, Shawn enjoys joining the worship team and singing in praise at church. In his free time, Shawn also enjoys getting a round in on the golf course, going fishing, and cheering on the Atlanta Braves.
Robert JamesSales / Business Development Representative
Robert has been in the low voltage business for 24 years now and has enjoyed the growth he has seen and been fortunate to contribute to. His favorite thing about sales is meeting new people and seeing their visions come true. He loves to work hard and get things done, but he also likes to play just as hard. On his days off, Robert spends a lot of time camping, hunting and riding ATV’s with his family. He also loves to cook for family and friends when he gets the opportunity to do so. He has 5 older children, 3 daughters and 2 sons, and is a proud grandfather to 5 awesome young granddaughters who he enjoys spending time with. Robert is also often found volunteering and helping others in his free time.
Yvonne SligerHR / Risk Management Representative
Originally from Dallas, Texas, Yvonne moved to Georgia in 2000 and has called it home ever since. Having previously co-owned an independent insurance agency, she has a strong background in insurance and risk management. Yvonne currently holds her CIC (Certified Insurance Counselor) designation and plans to further expand her professional education in the field of Human Resources. Yvonne has been married to her wonderful husband since 1993, and together they have one grown daughter and two very spoiled dogs. In her free time, Yvonne enjoys working out, boating, riding her Can-Am Spyder, and traveling the world.
George HeysSenior Master Electrician / Low Voltage Technician
After growing up in Ohio, George decided to serve his country by joining the US Navy in 1989. He was assigned to a submarine, the USS Houston, where he trained as a Nuclear Power Electrician. After his time in the Navy, George moved to the Gwinnett area in 1995 where he gained experience working as an electrician with several contractors. In 2013, he took his beautiful wife and daughter to live in Ecuador where they stayed until 2016 before moving back to Gwinnett. After gaining experience and broadening his knowledge in the electrical field, George applied for and received his Non-Restricted Electrical Contractor License in 2017. Further building his knowledge base by working with low voltage technologies, George decided to take the Georgia unrestricted low voltage exam. After months of preparing and studying, he completed and passed the exam in September 2021. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family, going on hikes, and exploring nature.
Brandon WilliamsLow Voltage Technician Manager / Journeyman Electrician
At work, Brandon is a hardworking, confident professional, but at home, he is a fun loving artist with a small carbon footprint. He loves watching football and motion pictures, making and listening to music, and reading books. Starting off by helping his father with his electrical business, Brandon has been doing electrical work since he was a young teenager. Now, after over 18 years of experience with several industry leaders, he has encountered more than enough challenges and learning opportunities to become a well-rounded expert ready to offer solutions to customers on all their cabling needs. As a Technician Manager with Systel, he is qualified in lighting, camera systems, fiber optics, networking and aerial cabling. In Brandon’s spare time, he enjoys live music, backpacking, up-cycling and anything he can be proud of when he finishes. Brandon’s second full time job is partying with his son and daughter.
James CaldcleughLow Voltage Technician Manager / Journeyman Electrician
James has been in the communication industry for over 12 years, and he has a wealth of knowledge that includes fiber optics, CAT6/CAT5e, cabling, splicing, broadband and troubleshooting. One of James’s strongest assets is his personality; he continues to be successful and offers outstanding customer satisfaction along with his ability to work well with others. Outside of Systel, James spends most of his time with his family. He is a proud father of three beautiful daughters, as well as his two four-legged family members, his dog, Trouble, and his cat, Ralph. James enjoys taking his girls and dog on adventures through parks and nature trails to discover new places and things. A few of his other interests are classic cars, animals, nature, tropical and saltwater fish, and comedies.
Ricky TerrellLow Voltage Technician
Ricky has nearly 20 years of experience as a low-voltage technician working with access control, fiber optics, camera systems and networking. He has worked on large commercial projects as well as new construction. Driven to expand his skill set, he recently graduated with an Associate Degree in Information Technology. Outside of work, Ricky enjoys spending time with his wife and children; he has a ten-year-old daughter and two-year-old son. Even though he is the only male in class, he is dedicated to taking piano class alongside his beautiful daughter. Ricky also enjoys watching any kind of sport with his son, especially Georgia football.
Art DickinsonLow Voltage Technician
Art has been in the construction and communication industry for the majority of his career and has experience with low voltage and electrical. Some of Art’s strongest assets are his work ethic, attention to detail, and his ability to communicate well with others. Outside of Systel, Art enjoys hunting and restoring antique pool tables. He has been married to his beautiful wife, Katy, for 14 years and is the proud father of a rambunctious 12-year-old son. He also enjoys hiking, boating, and fishing in his spare time.
Brandon HemphillLow Voltage Technician
With over ten years of experience in the construction industry, Brandon aims to apply his existing knowledge and skills to increasing his abilities as a low voltage technician. Additionally, he earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration at GGC. In Brandon’s spare time, he enjoys spoiling his three dogs and spending time with family. On his days off, you will find Brandon listening to music, working with carpentry, or doing anything that involves the outdoors.
