Systel, Inc. is a recognized leader in Georgia for sales, service and installation of commercial copper and fiber optic network cabling, along with commercial electrical. We currently are looking to fulfill the position of office manager/administrative assistant.

This candidate will represent Systel in a professional and courteous manner and will be responsible for providing outstanding customer service to our commercial customers. The successful candidate should be looking for a long-term employment relationship with our growing company. The candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the office.

Essential Job Functions

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Outlook, and Word.
  • Embody a strong ability to multitask and be self-motivated.
  • Equipped with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Work independently and consistently meet deadlines.
  • Responsible for answering incoming calls and routing to personnel.
  • Responsible for updating social media accounts – Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.
  • Perform data entry and schedule technicians’ jobs in online software.
  • Purchase, negotiate and verify equipment pricing with vendors.
  • Consistently schedule and update customers.
  • Handle all duties with accuracy and detail.
  • Be organized, detailed, trustworthy, reliable, responsible, self-motivated, and eager to learn.
  • Be energetic in this fast-paced office atmosphere.
  • Maintaining office and breakroom supplies


  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Outlook, and Word is required.
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
  • Must be able to pass a drug test.
  • Must be eighteen years of age or older.
  • Must have a minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role.
  • Optional: Proficient in Quickbooks; knowledge of payment posting and invoicing.
  • Optional: Proficient in Accounts Receivable functions such as calling on past due client invoices and payment reminders.
